Welcome To McLeod Creek Farm Online!

McLeod Creek Farm is a very busy, actual working farm.
During the summer months, we see an average of 8,000+ people come through the farm to experience the sheer peace of farm life. Being able to be a part of it is absolutely exhilarating for children and adults alike. To see all the wondrous breeds of animals, touch them, feed them and even go for a ride on a pony! People love to be able to visit us.
The fresh air is great too!

Through the last 25 years, we have seen many people come back as adults with their children. Being able to show and tell them about a farm that they once visited when they were
young is a truly incredible accomplishment!
We are now seeing second generations come for a tour!

Some of the things that happen at McLeod Creek Farm:
First and foremost, we are a working farm. We breed, raise, train and sell Canadian Shetland Ponies. We run school tours, regular tours, birthday parties on special occasions, weddings, family reunions and much more on a yearly basis. It takes a lot of hard work to keep a place like this around, it truly is great!

Over the last 25 years, McLeod Creek Farm has been working to keep farm life available to children, and adults
to come out and view. To get a feel for what it might be like to have and run a farm.

Many of the livestock breeds are rated as rare or endangered by Rare Breeds Canada and cannot be seen, in quantity, anywhere else in Western Canada.  Current rare and endangered species include: Guinea fowl, Pilgrim geese, Production Rouen ducks, Indian Runner ducks, Utility Embden Geese, Shetland Sheep, Jacobs sheep, Shetland Pony, Lac La Croix Indian pony, and Dexter cattle. More information on these breeds can be found at: http://www.rarebreedscanada.ca/index.htm.

McLeod Creek Farm provides some animals for petting and touching, but no other direct access to livestock pens is allowed.  This is done for the safety and health of our customers and livestock.  We wish to maintain a secure, clean, manure free environment for our customers to reduce any possible health or safety issues.  Hand washing stations are maintained for the same purpose.  We also wish to control the access to our stock to provide them with a stress free, safe environment.  Significant numbers of the display stock at McLeod Creek Farm have lived well beyond their normal life expectancy, partly due to the environment we provide.

Thank you and enjoy!
